Not-So-Cheap Eats: BGC Edition

For a better part of 2019 and the early months of 2020, I worked in an advertising agency located smack in the middle of Bonifacio Global City. For someone who has a fixed budget for food and transportation to and from work, it was a challenge for me to find good choices for lunch places. After a few months I managed to make a list of choices of various levels when it comes to price and type of food that lets me stick to my fixed budget even though BGC is an expensive place to eat in.

The Farmery's menu is slightly more on the expensive side but when it comes to quality and quantity, you'll get the best bang for your buck. Normally I go here for lunch once or twice a month because even though it's a little bit out of my budget, the taste, size, and experience really makes up for it. For under P400 pesos you'll get a medium-sized steak (cooked to your liking) with half the plate for your side dish of choice (my go-to is their Aglio e Olio pasta). Not to mention they also sell big chewy chocolate chip cookies that is the perfect palate cleanser after your big steak meal.
