For a chill but fun dinner with friends, a Conyo Girl’s top choice is Filling Station in Poblacion! The ’50s style diner has one of the best chocolate shakes I’ve ever tasted. I also don’t know if they source ingredients directly from the US, but the chocolate syrup in their pancakes are exceptional!

A psychedelic trip into the past. Nostalgia with a modern twist. Lights and colors have always caught my eye, so one late afternoon, I convinced my friend to go with me. She happily obliged. I ordered a ginger ale and some French toast. When the toast arrived, I was truly and pleasantly surprised. The presentation was well done and the texture and flavors were even better. They offered heaps of syrup (a plus in my book already), the portions were generous, and it was just the right level of fluffiness and firmness. Each bite was savored and missed.

Such a romantic place perfect for lovers. I can still remember the "kilig" moment I had in this place. The cozy feeling and a great ambiance is very commendable; food and menu are also great. I can eat nachos and cake forever here!
