Tried it here once but I dont think I’ll ever come back. The place doesnt look so hygienic and some of the side dishes have foul smell. Good thing was we were both famished so we still managed to finish lots of meat plates.

There are several restaurants around Taft that I love to visit. But it's the not-so-fancy one that impressed me. Haven't heard or read anything about this place. Only when my cousins and I were looking for a restaurant to dine that I got to experience Samgyupsalamat, Korean BBQ. It is located at 911 Kapitan Tikong Corner Leon Guinto Street, Malate, Manila Samgyupsalamat is one of the authentic and most affordable Korean Barbecue restaurants around the Metro. It is located in the heart of Metro Manila close to DLSU Taft Manila. To be exact, the place is hidden in a small alley along Guinto Street. It was small, kind of hot (not because of the grills). They only have few tables available for customers, but they got the best location. This is very popular to students and people who lived nearby. That's why there's a long line of customers waiting to give their orders. Be ready for the waiting game. They offer unlimited Samgyupsal including rice and side dishes. I like the price range of their buffet; they offer Unlimited 1 for 449 php/head (5 Kinds of Pork) and Unlimited 2 for 499 php/head (9 Kinds of Beef & Pork). But they also offer solo meal. Good thing about this place, their foods are not that expensive and no service charge. We ordered Unlimited 1 (because my cousins don’t like beef that night). Their food was awesome ('cause I love to eat). Servings were good for 2-3 persons. And they asked us also to choose what meat we want to be served first. Overall, the service was great. Their staffs were very accommodating and attentive. And the foods were so yummy!!! I cannot wait to return and invite my friends here. So, if you're craving for some Korean foods but you're in a budget, I would definitely suggest you to try this! Enjoy! Happy Eating!
