Hot springs on a tropical island? No matter the current temperature, you'll never hear me declining a chance for a good soak. The therapeutic (and apparently holy) water gushes out from sculpted spouts, collecting in tiered pools set within beautifully verdant gardens. While the hot springs are remnants of the Japanese colonization, they bear no resemblance to the immaculate onsen culture to be experienced in Japan. Expect mossy floors and people bathing in their daily clothes 😅 Admission Fee: 20'000IDR (access to the private jacuzzi is a separate fee at 15'000IDR/hour) ~ I heard recently locker and toilet are no longer free, but have to be paid separately 😕
