We have tried the Pigar-Pigar served by Uson’s located at Brngy. Lucao, Dagupan City. The ordering is per kilograms of meat. The minumum order is 250 grams for 160 pesos. I am a big eater so we ordered 500 grams which only cost 280 pesos. The serving is actually good for 3-4 persons. Their method of cooking is different from what I have researched. They are frying the marinated meat instead of sautéing it. The flavor of the meat is outstanding! Very flavorful. A piece of meat should be eaten with two spoons of rice. So if you are going to try Uson Pigar-Pigar in the future make sure to order for extra rice 😅 The cabbage and onions are perfect match for the savory meat. It gives more balanced taste since the veggies have subtle sweetness which enhances the beef flavor. All in all my first Pigar-Pigar experience is remarkable! It is a quality dish that deserves to be placed on Jan’s Plate!
